Alfred Nicolai started repairing shoes in 1935 and at age 9 his Grandson Pat Merrill occasionally picked up on his Grandfather’s trade. Nicolai worked until he was 91 and 25 year’s ago Pat established Merrill’s Shoe and Leather Repair. Pat does all the work himself and if he doesn’t think a requested repair will last, he just won’t do it, so you’re not wasting your hard earned dollars.
